How to calculate the number of tiles required: Each tile measures 500mm x 500mm nominal, however, when interlocked two tiles will measure 975mm. The reason for this is that the tiles interlock into each other, so the joint on the tile is subtracted from the total length covered. To simplify the calculation all you need to do is the following... Divide the length by 0.470 Divide the width by 0.470 Multiply the two together to give you a total number of tiles required. Just remember to round any decimal points up as we can only send you complete tiles.
