I plugged this vintage 1932 Andis Master model M barber hair trimmer in and it does work, however, I didn't trim any hair.  This trimmer / clippers is in good condition and the last patent date on this is 5/31/1932. The cord is supple and in good condition. There is a social security # engraved on the side. Purchased at a local estate. See photo.
