Brand New. Listing being updated.

Amazing jacket and highly collectible, Belstaff still sources fabrics from the British Millerain Co Ltd, suppliers to the British Army for more than a century, and this is virtually idestructible.

I've owned and abused one for 12 years myself ABSOLUTELY FIRST RATE, (mine, shown, not for sale, has minimal wear now on the inner cuffs and a fag mark on the front - the material, after this time, looks and feels virtually the same. The noticeable difference is actually a rustle on the new one as the material must wear smooth microscopically on wear points and they  go quiet).

On sale elsewhere and not interested in offers.

The original M is made in Belstaff's "Hooker" Ballistic nylon material, and is bulletproof, stylists famously struggled to rip garments worn by Cruise in the Mission Impossible 3 film.

The fit of the original is certainly true-to-size, with a valtherm zip-out liner for added warmth.

This jacket was from a time where Belstaff was still very much into the utility and functionality of their garments.

It has soft corduroy lining on the collar and cuff, and a poly-cloth Belstaff patch on the sleeve.

Here's a stuntman's take on it, PUBLISHED ON "FILMJACKETS" WEBSITE:

This is the one made out of tear-resistant ballistic nylon. Trust me, this stuff is amazing. Having owned and seen it tested first hand at Belstaff. This is truly a jacket you can't destroy. You really have to see and feel it in person to understand what I mean by that. During the production of MI3. They gave us well over 70 of these for Tom, his stuntmen, stand-in and photo double. And at one point in the script, the jacket was to rip. Something of which I'm not sure is still in the movie, would have to watch it again. But the costume department actually had a very difficult time making this happen. These jackets would constantly survive all types of stunts, fights and rigging.

And another review:

From Miles Ross on the same site

Digging up an old thread here, but this thing truly is bulletproof.

Got mine in 07 around the time they first launched it from Belstaff's Conduit St store and I have worn it almost every day since, in all sorts of weather all over the world. This tank only has one minor sign of wear and tear.
