Large grayware pottery figural vessel in the form of a seated god wearing very elaborate feathered headdress with relief bird and monkey heads, side lappets and relief decorated bib. Well defined face with perforated eyes, parted lips showing teeth and wearing ear spools. Cylindrical urn behind. Two repaired breaks in headdress and right lappet reattached, missing right thumb, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. Very nice.
