CLASSIC CASED POLAROID IMAGE SYSTEM INSTANT CAMERA - TESTED AND FULLY WORKING.

This is an opportunity to purchase a Vintage Cased Polaroid Image System Instant Camera - Tested and Fully Working.

Some minor cosmetic wear but overall in very good condition.

The Polaroid Image System dates from 1986 and forms part of their series of "Aerodynamic" high performance, Spectra Film, instant cameras. It has a bronze and grey body with a black control panel, a cool pop up front and was one of Polaroids most popular models. This design saves space and provides perfect protection for the fragile parts of the camera such as the viewfinder, lens and flash.

It has a f/10 125mm 3-element quintic lens with self-timer and is simple to use with an advanced, sonar autofocus system (with option to turn off), automatic exposure, electronic flash and sound (with optional OFF switches) and a lighten/darken option. There is a ready-light indicator, a counter window to indicate how many photos are remaining in the cartridge and a remote control option.

Its higher build quality and larger format prints (9.2 x 7.3cm images) gives great results. It uses instant, Image and Spectra film (not included) which is still made by "The Impossible Project" (now rebranded as Polaroid Originals).

The camera has been thoroughly cleaned as have the rollers to verify that they are rotating freely. The viewfinder is clear, the lens is fungus free and the body is in excellent condition with a Velcro hand grip on the user's left hand side.

Has been tested with an empty film/battery unit (not included) and everything operates correctly including the flash.

Comes complete with a Neck Strap, Polaroid velvet lined hard case (chip on the back right-hand side upper section which does not affect its operation - see pic 8) and information sheets.

It is ideal for lomography, street photography or travel - for anyone who just wants to point and shoot.

 All cameras and lens are visually inspected and are mechanically tested (a used film is run through where possible) to ensure that all functions operate correctly. If the item arrives not as described, we will gladly refund your payment.
