Sound / Description

 

The Contact series is Dreams most diverse series.


The 20" Contact Ride is an excellent medium-thin ride great for a 

wide array of music styles and applications.


The stick attack is bright, clear, focused and responsive and delivers a moderate

spread with a colorful, balanced wash.


The bell is fairly separated and clear, yet warm and never obtrusive.


Contact Series Dream's produce the widest sound spectrum of any Dream series'. 

From the bright attack to the dark and complex decay, Contact series cymbals will 

stand-up in louder amplified settings and are equally great in the studio.

  

 

CONTACT Series physical characteristics 

  • Surface: wide deep lathing by hand
  • Bow: medium taper
  • Bell: larger, articulate, clear
  • Weight: medium to medium thin, very fast but solid response
  • Hammering: deep hammered hot and cold
  • Stick: very crisp and fast
  • Wash: higher pitch, medium long decay
