Compatibility
An increased filling volume allows an entire bottle of anesthetic agent (250ml) to be used in a single fill with a quick, easy one-step process. This increases work flow efficiency, cost savings; and eliminates waste or storing partially filled bottles.
Simple Fill Process
The funnel fill design offers low life cycle costs and user-friendly handling without the need for fill adapters or accessories; as well as a clear filling gauge to indicate anesthetic agent level.
No Calibration Needed
The Vapor 2000 never requires calibration at any time throughout its life.
Flow and Concentration Ranges
Ideal for the challenges of a minimal flow regimen, the Vapor 2000 uses the highest dosage concentration required to create minimal wash-in periods during induction.
Extended Temperature Range
Controlling concentration accuracy during 10 to 40°C conditions allows precise dosing in extreme temperatures (i.e., special operating conditions in pediatric/cardiac surgery, burns, orthopedics).
Transportation Safe Design
This new design function allows the Vapor 2000 to operate normally according to product specifications subsequent to accidental positioning (i.e., turned upside down, violently shaken or tilted during transport). A unique transport position (T-Position) prevents anesthetic agent from leaking into control elements or surrounding air.
Clear Labeling for Proper Use
The Vapor 2000 eliminates confusion by clearly identifying each vaporizer’s anesthetic agent using a color-coded control dial and filling system.
New Plug-in Systems
The Vapor 2000 is suitable for anesthesia workstations equipped with a conical 23mm ISO connector. The new Selectatec compatible plug-in connector (S-2000) features a multiple vaporizer operation interlock system. The Auto Exclusion connector (DW-2000) is also compatible with the Interlock 2 or standard Dräger connector systems for multi-vaporizer operation and is backwards compatible with Drager Non-Auto Exclusion vaporizers, making the two interchangeable.
New Comfort Mounting System
The new Dräger Auto Exclusion vaporizer comfort mounting system (optional for select Fabius and Primus anesthesia workstations) is a plug-in system designed to increase efficiency and prevent user error. Simply plug in and swing locking lever into position for the vaporizer to automatically lock into place (manual sliding of the Interlock 2 latch is no longer required). This prevents the use of more than one port by blocking one vaporizer while the other is in service. Please note that standard vaporizers with the Dräger plug-in adapter are not compatible with this new Auto Exclusion mounting connector.
