One of a new line of 1/72 Scale model tanks and other military equipment from a Barcelona-based company named Panzerkampf S.A.R.L. Although they were originally expected to begin their offerings with two models to be issued in March or April of this year (2018), they ended up starting with a "Bang" with an initial shipment to our supplier consisting of 19 different models representing 9 distinct types of tanks or other weapons and most of these are diecast pieces.
Based on his extensive knowledge of more than 15 different brands of 1/72 Scale military vehicle models, our principal believes that Panzerkampf has had new tooling created to produce their models and have not recycled tooling used previously by other brands,
Most of their models, like the one being offered under this listing, have been issued in pairs with the same part number and UPC and same brief description on their boxes' lables. The two models in the pair are distinguished by "PA" and "PB" suffixes, which are not noted anywhere on the respective model's packaging and with the distinction only available to us in the picture file of the models transmitted to us by our supplier.
The information on our supplier's invoice on the first three pairs of model German tanks is as sparse as that on their boxes' labeling but it is more detailed for the final par of model German tanks - the Sd.Kfz. 141 Panzer IIIs included in our listings - and the models of equipment from other countries besides Nazi Germany - such as this model of a Russian T-90MS MBT and the related model PZK-12085PB.
The model comes mounted on a black plastic base and a clear acrylic case lid. Diecast model. Panzerkampf #PZK-12085PA.
MIB except this model's box was not shrink wrapped as most of those of the others in this series we have received from our supplier.
FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO INTERPRET A MODEL'S SCALE, THE MODEL IS 4 1/8 INCHES LONG. THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO DIVIDING THE LENGTH OF THE REAL TANK IN INCHES - LESS ANY PART OF THE GUN BARREL THAT EXTENDS BEYOND THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE - BY 72.
