This yeast is great for making any mead or high alcohol wines. Each sachet is enough for 25 litres of mead in one batch. It contains a good strain of yeast plus a nutrient and vitamins for a healthy fermentation.
Recipe for 25 litres of mead
Mix 20 litres of water (30-35degC) with 6-9kg of honey. Check liquid is no more than 30degC and add one sachet of Bulldog Mead Yeast. Leave to ferment under airlock at a temperature of between 20-30degC. Fermentation should be completed within 12 days. Stabilise and clear and bottle.
