ABOUT ME

I joined the US Marine Corps in 1965 as a Parachute Rigger.  I was trained in all aspects of pilot’s flight equipment and safety/rescue equipment repair, maintenance and packing.  This training also included me jumping out a perfectly good aircraft (P3), with the parachute I had maintained and packed during training.  I continued until I earned my jump wings.  I stayed in the Marine Corps for 10 years.  I was deployed to Vietnam in 1966, 67, 68 and 72.  In 1975, I was married (68) with children when we made the decision to file for discharge pending another set of orders to Vietnam.  The last 3 years of my service, I joined a local Volunteer Fire Department thinking of jobs I might like to do.  Sure enough, I found my calling.  23 ½ years later I retired from my state capital fire department. 

All through these years, I continued sewing and making things for myself and others.  I’m 75 now and still going strong.  I make items from WW2 and Vietnam that they no longer make.  I also expanded into making items for camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, backpacking, boating and other sports.

 I am usually listing 15,00-16,000 items.  Every item I make is custom made. I do not have a storefront but I do have a small shop running 4 sewing machines and 2 embroidery machines.  I love doing what I do and proud of every item I make.  I use only US Made materials and proud of it.  Semper-Fi and enjoy.

SHIPPING

I am always working hard to ensure your package arrives as soon as possible. Please understand that some factors like weather, high postal traffic, and the performance of shipping companies are outside of my control.  I am not responsible for wrong addresses.  I use eBay shipping program.

I ship the same day if order received before 9 AM (PT) or the next business day of payment. Please make sure your eBay mailing address is correct.  

Combined Shipping Discount:  When you order multiple items, be sure to put them all in your shopping cart before checkout.  Most, if not all combined shipping is automatic.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

For shipping outside of the continental USA, I only use eBay's Global Shipping Program. The item is shipped to KY and then sent to the rest of the world. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes. Continue to check out in order to calculate costs for shipping the item to your country. Messages regarding eBay's Global Shipping Program MUST be directed at eBay EXCLUSIVELY.

RETURNS

I offer a 30-Day Return Policy on items which you are not completely satisfied with. You have the option for a full refund - or an exchange of the item. No returns are available for custom embroidered nametags, luggage tags or any other custom work orders.  No returns are available on items shipped outside of the USA.
