Fluted up to rounded 5.5" opening. The base is 4.25".

There are markings on the bottom, yet hard to distinguish. In excellent condition--no chips, cracks, or signs of wear.

These were always used as decoration only, adorning the top of my grandmother's kitchen shelves.
