Antique Porcelain Tea Cup And Saucer c.1840

This attractive cup and saucer has been manufactured from porcelain and decorated with a transfer design in pink. The cup has a couple in a landscape on one side and a woman and child on the other. To the interior of the cup there is a floral sprig. The saucer has a bat printed transfer of the couple in a landscape.

The cup has one small area of discoloration to the interior and there are some marks and grit spots to the porcelain which have been present since manufacture. There are no chips, cracks, restoration or retouching to the pieces. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this lovely cup and saucer.
