WWI Era German Hohner Diatonic Accordion With Wood Case

DESCRIPTION:
This is another generous donation to The Humane Society of Boulder Valley Thrift & Gift Shop, supporting The Humane Society of Boulder Valley!
Handsome antique German Hohner diatonic accordion in an elegant wood case with original storage box.
WWI era? (Please see photo of label in the last photo and judge for yourself!)
12 1/2" X 11 1/2" X 6" deep
Weight without packaging: 11 pounds 2 oz.
Wood and wood veneer with fabric bellows, brass corners, and leather straps. The two rows of large buttons are mother-of-pearl and the smaller buttons are another material.
Condition: There do not appear to be any "leaks" and the bellows are in good shape. There are some small cracks in the wood veneer in spots and the padding is worn on the inside of the leather straps. The instrument has not been thoroughly cleaned or serviced. It sounds good, but it has not been tested by a professional musician. The storage box is coming apart at the corner seams, but it has done an admirable job protecting this instrument for decades.
