Why pay for a so called "Premium Leather" on eBay when in fact it is a Compressed scrap leather!! Yes, what is being sold on eBay is way over priced! The bible originally sold for $40.00. Now that the bible is Out Of Print (OOP) there are some on eBay that want to gouged a potential Buyer. This is not right. But here you have a rebound in real Cowhide leather. This is not that stuff called bonded or genuine leather. This is not that compressed stuff most commercial bibles use as covers. This is cowhide!! You will receive a sample of leather from which this bible came from. Aside from what has been said, the end sheets are the original. Five raised ribs were added to this beautiful bible study bible. I kept the original ribbon. I made a mistake on the corner but this doesn't hurt the quality of the rebound leather. It appears that this bible was never read. The pages are crisp and clean throughout. This bible is absolutely supple. It is not hard as the original so called "Premium Leather " cover it came with. So why pay a crazy price for compressed leather? As I state in all my listings I am not a professional in rebounding books. I have acquired the hobby and enjoy doing it.
