SILVER California Police Summer Games 1990 Sacramento Belt Buckle beltbuckle cop 

Super-cool belt buckle! I had this confirmed it is silver, but the little plate with the California Police Summer Games is obviously not. This was likely a price for winning, or participating, in the 1990 California Police Summer Games in Sacramento in 1990. Back then, the average price of an ounce of silver was $4.83 an ounce. Now it's $14.36 an ounce at the time of this listing. Buckle weight 3.5 ounces, but the loop, peg, and small plate are likely not silver. If you are picking this up as a piece of police memorabilia, then know the metal also holds value! A nice piece overall, and a great find!
