Pioneer tie - a red neck braid, tied in front with a special knot, a symbol of belonging to the pioneer organization, a symbolic part of the banner of the pioneer organization. The three ends of the tie symbolize the inviolable connection of three generations: Communists, Young Communist League members and pioneers.

Pioneer ties were produced in different shades of red and from various fabrics. The most massive was the release of red and orange ties of acetate silk.

In the expanded state, this tie is an isosceles triangle with a base of 100 cm and a height of 30 cm (the sides are approximately 58.3 × 58.3 cm in size).

The mass model was produced by the method of hot pruning and began to blossom around the edges after several years of wearing.
