decorative
piano-key border, printed more than 120 years ago.
- The image area measures 15"
x 10½", and
the map was engraved by the Matthews-Northrup Company.
- The map shows
post routes of the mail service to various locations not yet served by
railroad,
including Fort Stockton, Lubbock, Ozona, Sherwood, and Fort McKavett.
