My name is Martin Horton and I buy and sell cigarette and tobacco cards specialising in rarer cards. I deal worldwide and I am always looking to acquire new cards and collections especially rare ones. Please contact me if you have anything I may be interested in.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you end auctions early? NO, NEVER. I value all my customers and this rule gives everyone an equal chance to buy my cards. Please bid on my auctions with absolute confidence that the auction will run to the end with the item sold to the highest bidder.

Do you combine postage? YES. Postage is FREE to anywhere in the UK. My WORLDWIDE customers only pay one shipping cost but they MUST pay for all their items at the same time. Please do not pay your invoice until you are sure it is correct and you are sure you have finished buying. Feel free to take the time to browse all my items for sale. Invoices must be settled within 7 days.

Is the item in the photo the actual item I am buying? YES. I NEVER use stock photos. The item in the photo is the exact item you will receive.

Do you accept offers? YES. All my fixed price items have a best offer facility. Each offer is considered individually and whilst some offers are acceptable immediately, some may require further consideration and you will have an answer usually within a few hours. I NEVER accept offers for auction items. They are ALWAYS sold to the highest bidder.

Do you have a particular card I need in stock? NO. Not at the moment. ALL of my stock is listed on eBay but I am continually sourcing new material and new items are added on a daily basis.

How do you grade your items? I am a member of The Cartophilic Society of Great Britain and I use their guidelines when grading the cards as follows:

Excellent - Cards have been handled but only to a minimum extent and with extreme care, allowing no blemishes.
Very Good - Cards completely clean back and front, with no damage. In particular corners would be untouched, but edges might show slight signs of wear.
Good - Minor blemishes might be visible, due to handling or age, and there could be slight damage to corners. No creases or stains visible.
Fair - Showing signs of considerable handling and consequential corner or edge damage, or a card from one of the above categories with one defect, such as a crack, foxing, dirty mark.
Poor - A card that is soiled, damaged or badly worn, or with a serious defect, such as back missing or badly cut down in size.

Grading is still slightly subjective so please purchase with the confidence of knowing I offer a 30 day returns policy for ANY reason. I also show a picture, front and back, of the ACTUAL card you are buying.

Some of my cards are professionally graded by a third party grading company. I ONLY use P.S.A. who are widely recognised as the leading authority in this field.

I look forward to dealing with you and if you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.
