Acoustic Foam «Square»

Product Description

Acoustic foam is used as a sound-absorbing finishing material in rooms that require a good, clean sound free of humming, mumbling, and other reflections.  Thanks to the open-cell structure of the material, the "Square" sound-absorbing foam converts sound energy into heat and absorbs it. At the same time, the 3D patterns of the surface partially scatter the reflected sound. This way the mid- and high-frequency sounds are attenuated, resulting in a clean and more powerful overall sound in the room.

Acoustic foam "Square" with a thickness of 2 inches (50mm) copes well with high frequencies, removes flutter- echo without overloading the room and makes the sound cleaner.

Suitable for vocal booths, home studios and other types of environments, increases efficiency in combination with corner bass traps.

Acoustic foam contains no harmful or toxic components and is allergen-free. The manufacturing process does not involve environment-damaging freons. This material is completely safe and hygienic, does not produce dust, is mold-resistant, and has a long service life. Acoustic foam has no adverse effects on human health.
Acoustic polyurethane foam panels have several important advantages over other types of sound-absorbing materials:
    1. High noise reduction coefficient (NRC).
    2. Light weight, which makes transportation and installation quicker and more convenient.
    3. Compatibility with most surface types and shapes, since the panels are easy to cut to size and fit basically anywhere.
    4. Aesthetically pleasing appearance of the surface patterns.

Thanks to the variety of profile shapes, acoustic foam panels double as a contemporary wall finish, lending an authentic, professional look to a sound recording studio or a home cinema room, in addition to the sound-absorbing effect.

All in all, acoustic foam panels are an excellent sound-absorbing solution, whether you are setting up a recording studio, an audition room, or any other enclosed space that requires a special sound environment.

    Please note:

Acoustic foam is supplied in a compressed form. This cuts the delivery fee for up to 75%, since most shipping companies calculate shipping costs based on the volume of the shipment. For this reason, after unpacking the material, it should be left to absorb air and restore its shape for some time. Typically, this takes no more than 1-2 days if the foam is left unpacked in a warm room immediately after receiving, provided that the time from packing to unpacking has been 10 days or less. On a rare occasion the volume restoration process may take longer (up to 10 days), especially in a colder room. It is highly recommended to unpack the acoustic foam in a warm room, regardless of how soon you are planning to use it. The faster the acoustic foam is unpacked and the warmer is the room where it is stored afterward, the faster it will restore its natural volume. To speed up the process, you can warm the foam using an ordinary household hairdryer, by directing the warm air flow at the material from the distance of at least 3.3 feet so as not to damage the material. It is not recommended to store acoustic foam compressed for more than 30 days, since this can significantly increase the volume restoration times. Storing acoustic foam in the compressed form for longer than six months may render volume restoration process extremely long and/or partially ineffective.

    1. Some pores in acoustic foam are particularly large-sized. These pores are produced when the material of the required density is being foamed. This is normal for acoustic foam. The number of large pores can reach up to one percent of the total surface area of the panel.
