Beautiful Lacquered Wooden Tray With Painted Floral Pattern

This is a great lacquered tray. It measures 19" x 13" and is made by Toyo (Japan).

This tray is a beautiful display piece. It is dark wood with a wonderful floral pattern painted in the center. It looks like most of the original paint is still in place. There are a few marks on the surface, but it is in overall great condition. 

On the long sides of the tray, there are holes for carrying. Around these handles on the top edge, there is some damage to the lacquered finish.

On the sides and on the under side, there is a metallic tint to the finish. It looks sparkly in the light. 

This is a wonderful piece for decorating. If you collect Toyo pieces, this is a great example.
