You are bidding on a Selmer Paris Super Action 80 Serie II Tenor Saxophone with Selmer USA Case. The sax was used as a marching band instrument by the previous owner so it has some wear and tear typical of that type of use. The sax does play but needs some adjustments to play 100%. As is, it plays about 60%, so there are some leaks and other issues that need to be addressed. The sax neck has had a pull down at some point. It is structurally fine as is, but a good tech can make a repair to that fairly easily if you desire. There have been some repairs to the sax, looks like there was a repair to the octave mechanism on the sax, a hard solder. The finish of the sax is in pretty good shape, and the pads do look good, so it probably won't need pads, just some adjustments. The action on the sax does feel good, firm and fast, with a medium height on the keys. The serial is 572xxx. As I am writing this, I noticed one of the feet on the low C needs to be resoldered.
