Xylitol does not harm the good bacteria we need for a healthy smile. Xylitol is a natural sweetener that harmful bacteria cannot metabolize. The dental benefits of Xylitol are superior. You will notice after using our system for a few days your gums feel healthier. We recommend that you brush gently as any plaque is easily removed.
Plaque Bacteria metabolize sugar, a 6 carbon sweetener, excreting acids that destroy enamel, bone and gums. These bacteria thrive in a wet environment with sugar as a food source.
We recommend using Weltabs twice per day. Within a few days the pH of your mouth will no longer be acidic and will become alkaline. Harmful bacteria cannot exist in an alkaline environment and your gums will heal. Xylitol and Stevia are both 5 carbon sweeteners. Your beneficial bacteria are able to metabolize 5 carbon sweeteners. The result is an abundance of good bacteria and a minimal amount of bad bacteria.
Keep in mind water alone does nothing to address bacterial levels.
