3) "Factory-Sealed & Mint" #H-1210 "LINCOLN FUTURA" Model Kit 1995 "re-issue".
4) "Copy" of "original" historical letter from Revell's art director Richard Kishady(dated Dec. 1,1999) briefly speaking about his water color model box art "creations" from 1953-1960.
You are looking at the iconic "extremely rare & one-of-a-kind" 100% authentic  1950's Revell Original "S" Kit #H-1210 Box Art of the Ford Motor Co. "LINCOLN FUTURA" "concept" automobile. This near "mint" extraordinary opaque water color painting on art board with a very unique clear plastic lamination on top was created by Richard Kishady(1919-2011), Revell's art director from 1956-1960. Mr. Kishady was also a World War II fighter pilot.
The painting itself measures 7-1/2" x 19". The framed dimensions are 12" x 24". The "custom" frame was "special ordered" to compliment this incredible painting. If you look at the photographs closely, you will see that the bright  "chrome-finished" wood frame itself  has a design that closely resembles the front vertical grill slats on the "LINCOLN FUTURA".  It is almost as gorgeous as the painting itself!!! The plastic lamination that is on top of the painting was added by the Revell art department to protect the artwork.  It has come up slightly in the upper right corner due to age. The painting has a "high gloss" finish and is very bold and vibrant in detail. The photographs really do not do this piece justice.
Everyone who is familiar with this $250,000.00 "bubble-top" concept/movie car knows that deceased "custom" show car designer George Barris purchased it from the Ford Motor Co. for $1.00 and went on to convert it into the immensely popular "BATMOBILE" from the 1966 "classic & cool" "BATMAN" television show starring Adam West and Burt Ward.
This "extremely rare & unique" professionally framed "LINCOLN FUTURA" original painting is for the "serious" automotive art collector and/or automobile enthusiast.
