Up for sale is a WWII ERA - COLORED, ANTIQUE MAP - U.S. ENGINEERS SPECIAL ROAD MAP OF ENGLAND & WALES (SHEET 5).  WAR AND NAVY DEPARTMENT AGENCIES.

On the reverse side are 33 inset maps of different towns.

It is a very detailed map, measuring approximately 40 x 19 1/2 inches, including the border area.  Several folds within the map.

Maps this early and showing this much detail are a great piece of history! 

 

Map is generally in Fair condition.  There is some light age related browning and toning to the map.  The map has some nicks and chips - and a few tears - around the edges.  Some creases and wrinkles along the fold lines. Heavy stains on the map and some other stains along the folds.  Some holes in the corners of the fold lines.  Creases and chips in the corners.  A few other stains here and there.  

This old, historic map would be a great addition to any collection!   Map will ship folded - approximately 5" x 10".
