NOTE: The Switchcraft 181 Silent Connector uses a tight rubber compression sealed nut which eliminates the need for heat shrink / stress relief on that end of the cable. That said, we still use heat shrink on both sides of the cable, but it is contained within the connector itself. This gives the cable a clean and consistent look while still providing protection against shorts and flex during extreme use.

Industrial Grade Black Heat Shrink hidden within the connector housing provides additional stress relief for the soldered connections.
