• DESIGN:  A classic yet futuristic Modern Brass & Walnut "Column" base table lamp manufactured by Laurel lighting designs circa 195o's and highly reminiscent of Gerald Thurstons "Profile" designs for Lightolier. This sculptural form is highlighted by classic capped column design encasing a rich Walnut fluted inset perched atop a brilliant "Saarinen" like shaped pedestal base. Complete with contemporary Linen drum shade which compliments the sculpture perfectly while casting the ideal light upon the shapely surface

• CONDITION:  This stunning Mid Century Modern sculptural lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. The sensual Walnut and Brass base shows no real signs of wear with just some faint spots of tarnish patina. The contemporary white Linen-like fabric shade compliments the tone and texture of the sculpture strikingly. The 3 way socket, switch and power cord are original and have been inspected and are clean, safe and functional.
