Very choice Roman billon Tetradrachm struck in Syria, Laodiceia ad Mare.
Displays original silvering on both obverse and reverse.

Obverse: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus right.

Reverse: Eagle standing facing on thigh of sacrificial animal, looking left, holding wreath in beak, star between legs.
