This is one of two Japanese Reverse Paintings I have up for auction right now.  They are a pair painted in the mid to late 40's. The backgrounds (a green hue) and frames and sizes (20 x 13), are the same.  It is a very nice original hand painted picture of two coy. They appear festive and lively. The color of the water is soothing and calm-a beautiful minty or sage green. The painting itself was done masterfully.  It is a gorgeous painting.  The frame itself is also a nice work of art-the wood used has a dense grain and thus a nice deep rich color and shiny finish.  The rounded corners are also beautifully executed and are on their own very collectible.  The back is strong sturdy wood.  It is a very nice high quality item.  I charge what the post office charges me. Usually I ship Priory Mail, the day after the auction has ended, or sometimes the day after that.
