This reprinted 8 1/2s x 11 staple bound book, with 280 page, details the organization and training of the 88th Infantry Division at Camp Dodge in 1917. There is a great bio of the of the CG, Commanding General, Major General William Weigel, U.S.A.

They arrived in France during September 1918, and participated in the Meuse Argonne Offensive for the final push into Germany to end the War. Their victory medal would have had the Meuse Argonne and the Defensive Sector Bars. This book details their combat history in those campaigns, and the back of the book is a names listing of the soldiers in the division.
