Original antique engraved two-panel 1835 map of the parliamentary boroughs of Finsbury and St. Mary Le Bone, London, England, printed more than 180 years ago.

  • The maps were drawn by Robert Creighton, engraved by J. & C. Walker, and published by Samuel Lewis in his Topographical Dictionary of England, London, 1835.


  • There is excellent detail throughout, including parish boundaries, streets, waterways, individual buildings, and natural features.


  • Among the specific named features are Fleet Street, Paddington, Regents Canal, Kentish Town, Islington, Pentonville, Oxford Street, New River, Copenhagen House, Camden Town Road, Clerkenwell, and Highgate.


  • The borough plans are contained within a single decorative border, with an overall image area measures 23.8 x 18 cm [9½" x 7¼"].


  • A legend key in the lower margin identifies electoral boundaries established by the First Reform Act of 1832.
