Antique Staffordshire Farmer Figure c.1870


This unusual Staffordshire figure depicts a farmer carrying two pails of milk. He is shown dressed in a belted smock and wears a straw hat. The figure has been hand painted in overglaze enamels.


Condition report:

There is a little enamel loss on the rim of his hat at his nose (please see final photo) otherwise the figure is in very good condition.  Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this rare figure.
