Rare Silver Plated Repousse Style Sugar Bowl
with Silver Spoon and Glass In
sert
Weidlich Brothers, W.B. Mfg Co

This vintage silver sugar bowl and silver spoon with glass insert was created by the Weidlich Brothers, WB Mfg Co. We know it was made prior to 1950 since the company was only open from 1901-1950.  This particular item, C 104, has an intriguing floral pattern completely surrounding the exterior of the bowl and lid.

The tiny silver spoon is stamped with the words, "Bellini, Prata, So. Brazil.  The lid is notched to accommodate the spoon.
A small glass insert protects the silver from the sugar. The bowl with lid measures 3" tall and 3" wide; the delicate spoon measures 3.75" long.  Total weight of the set is 11 ounces.

This could also be a jelly jar with spoon, not sure.  This is a rare item.  I researched it thoroughly on the internet and was unable to find one like it although I found many salt and pepper shakers in the same style and by the same company.

Excellent condition, no signs of damage. No cracks in the glass insert and the spoon is also in perfect condition.

This is a beautiful collector's item guaranteed to be a conversation piece.  But buy it now while it still lasts.
