This painting is titled "Celebrating Dio."   This is from my collection of "Rock-on-Rock" paintings, aptly named...as the art is on stone, with the subject matter predominantly music themed.  I have favored flagstone as my canvas of choice since 1997, my art has been sold/displayed professionally in galleries and shops since 1998.  I regard flagstone as the earth's natural canvas.  No two pieces of stone are ever alike in color, shape, or texture...until now.  For this artistic endeavor, I use uniformly cut pieces of flagstone to resemble vinyl albums.  These pieces are approximately 12" H x 12" W x 1/2" thick.  A metal easel/stand is included, candles are not.   Music is a constant source of inspiration, as well as the fashion/accessories, and icons associated with all music genres.  I love incorporating metallic and pearlized paints, along with faux-finish effects, shadow/light, and especially 3D effects...so realistic, sometimes you have to touch!  Painting realistic studs one at a time is relaxing!  This original, yet subtle/symbolic tribute painting to a true metal icon is finally available for sale.  Please read all "item specifics," as well as viewing all photos for aesthetics.  *Imperfections may be present as this is truly nature's canvas.  If you should have any questions or require any additional photos, please feel free to contact me prior to purchase.
