Solid Brass Octagon Centre Door Pull
This elegant Georgian style centre door knob is cast in solid brass. Perfect for period homes, renovations and doors of standard proportions. Hand-polished with an unlacquered finish.

Centre door pulls are usually mounted in the centre of the door and uséd to pull the door closed. A fixing bolt is included which goes through the door and screws into the rear of the door pull.
How they are made
These door knobs are "sand cast" - the same process uséd to make the original Georgian knobs. Molten brass is poured into sand moulds, formed using an antique pattern. When cool, the casts are hand finished and polished. This makes an authentic antique style which is not machine finished.

Brass develops a mature and mellow patina over time.
