This wonderful book has its foundation in an old manuscript originally belonging to the Franciscan monistery at Berchtesgaden, Braveria. The manuscript was obtaine dfrom apeasant by Herr Richard Voss, of Heidelberg, from whose German version this is an adaptation. This is a later edition with a new preface by Bierce dated 1906.

This original antique book is in excellent condition. The book is protected in a clear, acid-free, Mylar dust jacket (see photo # 2). The exterior is clean with no bumping, rubbing or discernable edge wear. The pages are clean and in excellent condition. The book is free of any writing, smudging, foxing, pasteboards or stamps. It is not an ex-library book. The binding is solid throughout; the book has no looseness or lean and both hinges are solid. 166 pages. Overall an excellent condition, Neale Published book.
