The CT-6-100 Sensor Probe from Cartell includes a 100' direct burial cable attached at the factory. The direct burial cable makes conduit unnecessary, allowing for easy installation.

How does the sensor probe work? The CT-6 uses magnetometer technology to detect movement in the earth's magnetic field caused by moving steel. It will not detect animals, people or blowing objects. Wind and weather do not affect it, making it virtually false-alarm proof.

Features:

  • Use with CT-2B, CF-2C and CT-3BG control units
  • Includes 100' attached direct burial cable
  • Covers a 12' wide driveway when buried beside the driveway
  • Sealed, weatherproof construction
  • Coated in a tough polyurethane for maximum protection
  • Sensor probe and wire do not require conduit
  • Maybe spliced in the field with an underground splice kit
  • Fully shielded to avoid false alarms caused by RF noise

Technical Specifications:

  • Temperature Range: -40F to 250F
  • Dimensions: 16 1/2" x 1 3/8" diameter
  • 500 to 800 ohms coil resistance depending on wire length
