For your holiday pleasure we are offering this rare, tin lithographed, red and mustard yellow, Ferdinand Strauss, wind-up, "Trik Auto", open touring car measuring 8" long, with clockwork mechanism that makes for some crazy driving! Manufactured by the Ferdinand Strauss Co. in New York City who produced wonderful toys from 1914 to 1927. It has two, wide metal seats suitable for displaying some of your smaller antique dolls (ours are not included and just for display). Considering the rough play this sturdy toy has had (one hundred years old) it is in amazingly good overall condition although it is missing the small metal driver and steering wheel. The wind-up mechanism still works.                Please check back with us often as we will be listing additional antique toys, dolls and teddy bears as shown in last few photos (none included in this listing).
