From Pedro Durán S.A., Madrid, Spain, makers of fine silver, silver and nickel plated gifts, decorations and serving ware comes this lovely table top mirror suitable for any home.

Alpadur no se mancha translates directly as Alpadur not stain.

I was not able to find it on their website so I assume the pattern is no longer sold new.  I bought several cases at a charity event and had no idea what they were other than mirrors!  I was told they came from a store that has closed.  All the papers I found with them were dated 2003 or older.  The only surviving shipping container has "25 Vascos Redonado Dali 25cms" written in cursive on the top.  This translates as "Reduced Basques Dali".  I don't know whether the writer was referring to price or size.

The metal is silver plate.  I used a magnet to test the frame and it was non-ferrous. The back of the frame and stand are faux wood.  This unit is sturdy and weighs 1lb, 6.4oz on my postal scale.  Listed at 25cms or about 7-1/2 inches inside and about 10 inches as the outside dimension.

Further research showed that the maker applied for a US trademark in 1988 under the Alpadur name but never followed through.  This makes AlpaDur somewhat rare for the North American market but I was able to the same piece for sale in Spain selling as used for 30 euros.  This equates to $35.82 US dollars based on the current market of 9/17/2017.  Having been able to purchase them in bulk I am passing savings on to you.

I picked up some photo frames of the same make and style at the same event.

The pieces are all new.  If you want one with the original packaging contact me when you order but understand this is all strictly as-is.  The mirrors have been in storage and despite the claim not to stain there are some small marks on some of them.

Shipping quotes are for US customers only; international buyers please review added costs before you order!
