This is a very rare, fully functional, vintage attaché viewer. These are traditionally used in the field of photography, but currently have a very wide range of uses and applications, from doctors and engineers, to tattoo artists. This unit is made by Matrix/Leedal, an American manufacturer of professional photo lab equipment. The lightbox apparatus is built into a rugged, hard-shell Samsonite briefcase. The light is generated from a full spectrum fluorescent tube bulb, and the power cord is a coiled version which packs easily. The light table surface measures approximately 15.5" diagonally.

Overall dimensions (closed): 19" x 14" x 5"

The condition of this item is fantastic. It looks as if it were rarely ever used during the course of its life. It is free of any cracks, breaks, repairs, or other damage. The outside shell of the briefcase does show some wear, but nothing major.
