Up for bid is a good quality Dutch 833 silver salt cellar frame of neoclassical design. The piece is 3 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall and weighs 35 grams. It has a beaded edge over a gallery border. It stands on four tall feet with ram’s head caps, connected with floral swags. It has not been monogrammed. It is marked on the rim with a Dutch “dagger” assay mark with impinging key, indicating an export piece, and is marked [HOLLAND] in a rectangle on the bottom of the frame.

Condition on the piece is good. Aside from the missing glass liner, there are just some stubborn tarnish spots and normal wear. A fine old salt cellar frame!
