P.J. Redoute Print Framed Red Rose Flower

Welcome, I am an owner of Galaudet Gallery Fine Art.  On occasion I list easily shipped items from our exhibitions. 

On offer here is wonderful vintage  print of Pierre J. Redoute’s Rosa Gallica Maheka featuring one blooming gallica raose with one bud behind it.  The famed engraver of Redoute’s paintings Langlois is the engraver for this rose sprig.    This piece has a wooden framed painted light yellow with a yellow matt--both used to bring out the yellow center of this rose.   The frame has glass.   Following is the wall card:
