4 Leaf Clover Pendant

A four leaf clover is a rare variation of the common three-leaf clover. They've been associated with luck since at least 1640 and in the 1800's they were said to be "gathered at night-time during the full moon by sorceresses.

As far as I know, these aren't gathered by sorceresses (but they wouldn't necessarily volunteer that information!) but they've been carefully gathered, dried and encapsulated in clear resin for you to wear..

Four-leaf clovers are rare - they're outnumbered by the three leaf variety at between 2,500 to 1 and 5,000 to 1. Which is why they have a reputation for being lucky.

Although the lucky clover has been dried, it's still a vibrant green colour - the photos don't do it justice.

Its resin surroundings are about 25mm (around an inch) in diameter and is attached to a black cord that measures approximately 44cm (just over 17 inches). Including the cord, it weighs about 4 grams so you can attract luck without being weighed down by your lucky charm.

It makes a fantastic present - whether it's for a birthday, a gift, a good luck charm or a costume party.
