These lamps are high quality and brand new, an absolute bargain, as other sellers are selling them at the same price in used condition!

As a Stranne Light fitting owner myself, with the table and floor standing pre-LED versions, I have found great difficulty in finding new affordable replacements for the bulbs which have died. Until now! These are not made by IKEA but they have been manufactured specifically for the IKEA STRANNE light fitting. The original bulbs have a metal collar which acts as a stop to avoid them being over tightened. However, this also leaves them liable to becoming loose when the lamp is moved and then going out. These fit better into their cups as seen in the photographs and when installed are gently gripped into place so less chance of loosening when moved.

The penultimate picture is of a used bulb, with the photo before of our new bulb. The last photo shows the old bulb on the left illuminated next to the new bulb which is on the right. As you can see our new bulb has a fuller glow, a more snug fit and is improved value for money! The used bulb shows age and will not last as long
