Handsomely bound in bright, navy blue covers with bright gold, impressed lettering on the spines and the image of the medal of the Loyal Order on the covers, both books are clean and have solid binding throughout. The exteriors are clean and have no bumping, but have mild rubbing and light edge wear. The lettering and images are bright and sharp. The interiors of both books are in excellent condition. The pages are clean and in wonderful condition; there isn’t a mark in either book. The books have no writing, smudging or foxing, or stamps. The is a one inch by one inch ownership tag on the front inside cover on one book. This is not an ex-library set. The binding is solid throughout both books; there is no looseness or lean in either book and all four hinges are solid and fine.
