MISSING REGISTRY AND STRIPE CORRECTION SET

                                                                                                 

Here we have for sale custom made HIGH QUALITY decals for the EAGLEMOSS STAR TREK DISCOVERY STARSHIPS COLLECTION: USS FRANKLIN.

MODEL NOT INCLUDED - DECALS ONLY 

These decals include missing nacelle registries and panels. as well as missing red striping that runs the length of the nacelle pylons and behind the main bridge section.

To complete the fix of the model there are 3 thin sections of the model that need to be painted with red model paint, (I suggest Vallejo 71.003 Red) these are thin lines that run either side of each nacelle and on the top of the saucer. These lines were painted by hand with a thin brush and any over paint was removed with a tooth pick! (A tooth pick is also a great way to scratch up this paint once it has dried to match the rest of the weathering of the model!)

two sets of decals are available, clean and weathered. The weather decals are clear in places to reproduce the paint scratched away through to the hull. This effect is improved if you remove the incorrect grey stripes from the rear of the nacelle pylons, I made a video of this which is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yPvImJFw0s

Decals are printed on clear decal paper.

The decals look great, are very sharp and really finish off the model making it look fantastic!

You will receive the decals ready to apply, all you will need is a hobby knife to cut out the decals and a bowl of water to dip the decals in for 10 seconds before applying to the model. If you have access to Microsol and Microset or another decal adhesive you may get slightly better results, giving the decals a more painted on look. Giving the model a few coats of matt or gloss spray will also help adhere the decals to the model and protect both.
