This is a Traditional Newari Incense called Dhupaya. It is made by traditionally with many different precious Aromatic Himalayan herbs. The finely powdered from of the herbs wrapped in the thin strip of Lokta paper and twined forming stick called Dhupaya (Incense).

Incense is well known for the offering to various deity and also way of treatment and healing procedure for sickness. Incense are daily burn for the ritual pujas, daily pujas in home and office for the goodness and to remove evil spirits from the livelihood. It is also used as medicine for the treatment of the sickness. Burning incense is very important in our daily life as it brings postitve action, relief stress, relax and refreshes mind and body from daily pressure by its perfume.
