It converts any standard 4-Pin power into two 15-Pin Serial ATA (SATA) power leads.
It allows the conversion of the 4 pin molex power connector from the PC s PSU to be attached to the SATA powered device.
As peripherals move over to SATA power connectors, Molex 4 pin are less needed, so this adapter changes it simply, easily and safely.
Your SATA hard drive can now work with the old IDE power connector.
