Description of veneer decks: Deck is trimmed to the veneer to match the historical facts. Design of peripheral boards called "Waterway". Laying of individual boards. Their endings to the waterway, especially on the bow so called "Hacking" and narrowing towards the rear. Marked pins by which were nailed to the deck-beams - beams holding the deck so called "Treeline". All these details according to practices at a given time during the construction of the ship. Veneer deck precisely fits on a plastic board this model. There are cut out all the openings in the deck, as on the plastic parts.
The lower cannon deck is partially carved where it is visible through the window of the upper deck. Also onboard they are carved gratings. Together
with the deck, we also supply a wooden stick with a base of 1 * 1 mm to
create cannonball fences, which are marked on the board.
There are V-shaped barriers on the main deck that prevent the stored cannonballs from moving around the deck. These plastic barriers must be cut off and aligned with rest of the deck. After gluing the wooden deck, we will create these barriers from the attached wood, in the places that are marked on the deck.
You will get also the recommended installation procedure with veneer deck.
