Up for auction is this BEAUTIFUL PRE-1800 Persian Brass & Pink Enamel with etchings and raised floral & leaf design and in the recesses of the etchings there is some faded pink enamel Tea Pot / Server, Actual Date Unknown. It is marked on the bottom IS22TZ, I think, hard to read. It measures approx. 11 3/4" T x 7 1/2" W (from hand to tip of pourer) and the base measures approx. 2 3/4" and weighs 1 lb. 5 oz. It has a hinged lid and fits well. It does need a good cleaning to bring out the colors and brass, but I leave that up to the new buyers due to patina reasons. Excellent condition!!!
I had this item appraised and the appraiser said she thought it was from the Ottoman Empire in Persia, but it also maybe Turkish Brass with Enamel, and she couldn't tell me exactly an age but it was an antique piece. She appraised this item at $225.00 to $275.00 due to
condition and age, and I am starting it lower due to downsizing before my move.
