You are bidding on a 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMS Andromeda, the Diadem Class cruiser , which served in the Royal Navy from 1899 to 1913.

The Andromeda , began her life, on December 2, 1895,  at the venerable Pembroke Dockyards, in Wales. She was launched ,on April 30, 1897, and was commissioned into the Royal Navy on September 5, 1899.

After service in various parts of the globe, she was converted into a training ship and survived until scrapping in 1956.

Photograph one is undated, and shows an overall waterline starboard bow view. 

Item two is a photo quality 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing her ships unofficial badge, general characteristics, callsigns (1906 & 1912 ), trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
